A mixed sheet for primary maths

The sheet above spreads its questions evenly across the four operations — times tables, column addition and subtraction, and division — and finishes with fractions of amounts and equivalent fractions. Multiplication and division facts run to 12 × 12, and column work goes up to four digits. Division here is exact, with no remainders, and the numbers stop short of the five-digit column arithmetic Year 5 does, so the sheet suits a child anywhere in Key Stage 2 rather than one particular year.

A year-group sheet is the better choice when you want the emphasis a year actually gets in school — the tables in Year 3 and Year 4, remainders in Year 5. Every sheet is A4, print-ready, and comes with an answer key.

Answers included — a separate marking page with every sheet.

Maths worksheets by year and topic

Year 1–6 and topic worksheets matched to the national curriculum. Start with a whole-year mixed sheet — each year hub links down to that year's topic sheets when you want to drill just one skill:

Year 1 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 1 number curriculum — addition and subtraction within 20, number bonds, and halves and quarters.

Year 2 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 2 number curriculum — the 2, 5 and 10 tables, addition and subtraction within 100, division facts and fractions of amounts.

Year 3 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 3 number curriculum — tables, column addition and subtraction, division and fractions of amounts.

Year 4 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 4 number curriculum — every table to 12 × 12, four-digit column methods, division and fractions of amounts.

Year 5 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 5 number curriculum — short division with remainders, five-digit column methods, table recall and equivalent fractions.

Year 6 maths →

A mixed sheet across the whole Year 6 number curriculum — long multiplication, long division with remainders, five-digit column methods and equivalent fractions.

KS1 maths →

A mixed sheet spanning Years 1 and 2 — addition and subtraction within 100, the 2, 5 and 10 tables, division facts and fractions of amounts.

KS2 maths →

A mixed sheet spanning Years 3 to 6 — the four operations, both long methods and equivalent fractions.

Times tables →

Any tables from 2 to 12, for any year group — mixed and order-flipped, with an answer key.

Questions parents ask

How is this different from a year-group sheet?

The sheet on this page gives the four operations equal weight — a quarter each of times tables, addition, subtraction and division, with fractions on top. A year hub does not: Year 3 and Year 4 lean on the times tables because that is where the tables are taught and checked, and Year 5 leans on short division with remainders because that is the Year 5 hurdle. Use this sheet for general practice or when a child sits between year groups; use the year hub when you want the emphasis that year group actually gets in school.

Which worksheet should I start with?

If you know the year group, start at its hub — the mixed sheet there covers that whole year of number work, and it links down to a page for each topic. If you are not sure, or you want a general warm-up, print the sheet above. If one skill is the problem, go straight to its page: times tables, addition, subtraction, division, fractions of amounts or equivalent fractions all have their own sheet, and you can drill just that.

Are the answers included?

Yes. Keep 'Answers' ticked and a separate answer-key page is made with every sheet, so marking takes seconds. Every answer is computed exactly and checked.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Set the sheet up, make it, then print it or download the PDF. There is no login, ever.
